Mohamed Adjou (Brtish Oceanographic Data Center,UK) – Geotraces (meta-) data Management
Dr. Mohamed Adjou has a background in Marine and Climate Sciences (Marine Science Engineer and Climate-Environment Interaction MSc) and hold his PhD in Chemical Oceanography from University of Brest under the supervision of Prof. Paul Treguer. After his PhD he worked as a Postdoctoral Researcher at the University of Copenhagen in close collaboration with Prof. Katherine Richardson on marine ecosystems feedback to environmental forcing using data modelling and observations.
His multidisciplinary interest in marine data modelling, data management and software development drove him to develop his skills and to work in this field. Mohamed acts actually as the GEOTRACES data manager at the British Oceanographic Data Centre (BODC, Liverpool, UK).
